Special alloy

Kåbe kerb angle frames are manufactured from specially-alloyed concrete-resistant light metal in natural colours.

Kåbe kerb angle frames are manufactured from corrosion resistant, hardened aluminium alloy. They are delivered in the lengths requested with architrave corners and are easily assembled on site. This gives lower shipping costs and fast deliveries.

Thanks to the special alloy, the Kåbe frames are non-corrosive and resistant to concrete. No treatment is required prior to embedding. The Kåbe frames are very easy to handle thanks to their low weight.

We also supply kerb angle frames in hot-dip galvanised steel, stainless acid-proof steel and brass.

Install Casting frames as follows:

To be mounted on site

Assemble the frame using enclosed screw and washer. Measure the diagonal distances of the frame to check that the corners are at right angles. For larger frames, counter-stays, e.g. wooden battens, may need to be sawn to fit on site to prevent the frame from taking a "hour-glass" shape, which could mean that the mat will not drop into the frame.

We can also supply casting frames in hot dipped galvanized steel, stainless steel and brass. Please contact us for more information.
